In 2002, I had the opportunity to live abroad in England for six months. After finding some inspiration in the form of a thrown out chair that resembled more of a throne, I sat in my room one night and wrote lyrics that told of my life there. The calm stillness on a chilly Tuesday night countered with some beer, several packs of Walkers' crisps made for a nice story. I never learned to read or get used to military time, and the digital clocks there were in that format. Hence, 22:38, or 10:38pm, when this song was written. :)
